Bet A Lot and Earn Little playing Craps
Aug 13th, 2023 by Adolfo

If you decide to use this system you must have a vast pocket book and amazing fortitude to march away when you accrue a small success. For the purposes of this story, a sample buy in of two thousand dollars is used.

The Horn Bet numbers are not always judged the "winning way to wager" and the horn bet itself carries a casino advantage of over 12 %.

All you are playing is 5 dollars on the pass line and ONE number from the horn. It does not matter whether it is a "craps" or "yo" as long as you wager it constantly. The Yo is more dominant with gamblers using this system for obvious reasons.

Buy in for two thousand dollars when you approach the table however put only five dollars on the passline and one dollar on either the two, three, eleven, or 12. If it wins, beautiful, if it loses press to two dollars. If it does not win again, press to $4 and then to eight dollars, then to $16 and following that add a $1.00 each time. Each time you lose, bet the last amount plus one more dollar.

Adopting this scheme, if for example after 15 rolls, the number you chose (11) hasn’t been tosses, you surely should march away. Although, this is what might develop.

On the tenth toss, you have a total of one hundred and twenty six dollars in the game and the YO finally hits, you earn three hundred and fifteen dollars with a gain of one hundred and eighty nine dollars. Now is a good time to step away as it’s higher than what you entered the table with.

If the YO does not hit until the 20th roll, you will have a complete investment of $391 and because your current wager is at $31, you gain $465 with your profit being $74.

As you can see, using this approach with just a one dollar "press," your gain becomes tinier the longer you gamble on without attaining a win. That is why you should go away once you have won or you must wager a "full press" again and then advance on with the one dollar increase with each toss.

Crunch the data at home before you try this so you are very adept at when this system becomes a losing proposition rather than a winning one.

Become Versed in Craps – Tricks and Tactics: The Past of Craps

Be clever, play smart, and learn how to play craps the proper way!

Dice and dice games goes all the way back to the Crusades, but modern craps is only about one hundred years old. Modern craps come about from the old Anglo game called Hazard. No one absolutely knows the birth of the game, although Hazard is believed to have been invented by the Englishman, Sir William of Tyre, around the twelfth century. It is presumed that Sir William’s soldiers bet on Hazard during a siege on the castle Hazarth in 1125 AD. The name Hazard was acquired from the fortress’s name.

Early French settlers brought the game Hazard to Canada. In the 18th century, when exiled by the English, the French moved down south and discovered refuge in southern Louisiana where they eventually became Cajuns. When they left Acadia, they brought their preferred game, Hazard, along. The Cajuns modernized the game and made it fair mathematically. It’s believed that the Cajuns adjusted the title to craps, which is acquired from the term for the losing throw of 2 in the game of Hazard, referred to as "crabs."

From Louisiana, the game migrated to the Mississippi scows and throughout the country. A good many acknowledge the dice maker John H. Winn as the creator of current craps. In the early 1900s, Winn assembled the modern craps setup. He added the Do not Pass line so players can wager on the dice to lose. Afterwords, he invented the spaces for Place bets and added the Big 6, Big 8, and Hardways.
