If you gamble, chances are you shall lose. No ifs, ands, or buts. You have to be are aware of and accept that certainty. How do you think the Vegas betting houses pay for all their fine stuff? Of course! By winning $$$$ from the millions and millions of players who travel to sin city each year. You must approach craps as just an additional form of entertainment. rather than paying $200 for a nice dinner and show, you pay two hundred dollars for a a couple of hours of fun and excitement at the craps table. If you’re lucky and walk away with a bit of of your $200 remaining in your wallet, then that is icing on the cake.
You can never walk up to a craps table expecting to come out on top. You can be assured, have discipline, gamble smart, and aspire to come away with a win, but you can not anticipate to come out on top. No matter how much you wish, you must always remember that the casino game was created for you to lose. Do not take it so critically that it’s no longer enjoyable. If you are able to march away with a few $$$$$, then your trip was that much sweeter.
I don’t uphold all the pop psych gibberish about how positive thinking can have an affect on the outcome of your action. None of that gibberish is going to make the dice land any differently than how they are going to land. Absolutely, it is important to maintain fortitude, play smart, and be positive, but you must stay in reality. The fact is that the game was developed to defeat you, no matter how hard you hope or anticipate to win. The reason for keeping a affirmative attitude is not to affect the results of your gambling; it is to make sure you enjoy yourself.
Have fortitude, bet brilliantly, and most notably enjoy yourself. If not, you will ruin your trip by getting angry due to the fact that you could not defeat a game that you were not presumed to defeat.
If you do not wish to be deprived of your shirt, you must learn the secret to craps. Do not fall for fake winning systems or bizarre dice-throwing statements. Be smart. Play smart. Understand the secret to craps.
Craps
Craps appears like a difficult game, and it can be, but you do not have to understand all of the intricacies to participate in it well and receive a decent return. If you stay with the common wagers with a low casino advantage and don’t bet when you are not certain what it’s you’re betting on and its odds.
By wagering on the pass line and buying odds you can bet with virtually no casino advantage. This almost makes the expression ‘betting’ wrong if you really think about it.
Pass Line
The game begins by placing a wager on the Pass or Don’t Pass prior to the first toss. If a 7 or eleven is rolled first you profit and 2, three, or twelve will result in you loosing if you place a bet on pass. The reverse is true if you cast a bet on Don’t Pass. Except 12 which is a push if you place a bet Do not Pass. Almost everyone wagers on Pass, so if you pick Do not Pass, do not draw recognition to yourself, particularly if you win. If you win then everyone else just lost, and aren’t going to like any showing off. Should a different number other than 2, three, seven, 11 or 12 are tossed first, that number is the point. Don’t wager on the Pass line after the Come Out throw, it is legal, but the odds are against you.
Purchasing the Odds
In order to take control of the wager with virtually no casino edge, you must initially bet on the Pass Line. Next you will be able to bet a multiple (based on the betting house) of your Pass bet that the point will be tossed prior to a 7. Depending on the number of the point, you can win up to 2:1.
Gambling along these general lines will provide you with honest chance of becoming a champ. Add the excitement that the craps always seems to generate and the only way to lose is not to compete.
You see a table with several available positions. Which spot should you occupy? That’s a matter of individual desire. Is there a beautiful man or girl gambling alone at one end of the table? Which individuals are using cigarettes? Which appear to be tired? Which appear inebriated or awful? Choose a spot where you will feel the most at ease.
I prefer betting on the end, right beside to the croupier. On the end, I don’t need to be concerned about individuals on both sides of me. I don’t like wagering near to the stickman because I always seem to get in the way of them reaching for the dice or maneuvering the stick.
After competing for a while, you will get a taste for your favorite position. You don’t have an option when it is crowded. If you end up in an awful location (like, an annoying person is beside you), simply switch to a further open spot. If the table is full, hang out until somebody leaves and take their spot. Be aware of a gambler "coloring up," which is an indication that she is departing, and tell the croupier that you want to take over her position. The croupier will then hold that spot and not allow a different player to rapidly step in. The dealer will politely request the new player to move to the spot that you leave. Clearly, when you change locations, don’t leave your your chips.
Gamblers next to you can have an affect on your mood and full betting experience. They can make it exciting or horrible. You could get trapped next to a chimney like obese player with horrid body smell, or it might be a group of drunk hotties busting out of their skimpy tops. So, choose your spot wisely.
